Pin Feed Preview
Most pins are judged in a feed where the title is clipped and the description is two lines. Paste your copy and see the card a scroller actually sees.

Add a title to preview the pin card.
The feed is the whole audition
A pin gets a fraction of a second in a grid of other pins. The image wins attention, then the title confirms relevance. If the first four or five words do not match what the reader is looking for, the pin is scrolled past no matter how good the article is.
Front-load the specific words
“12 Small Kitchen Storage Ideas” survives truncation because the topic arrives first. “Ideas That Will Finally Solve Your Small Kitchen Storage Problem” does not — by the time the reader reaches the topic, the card has already cut off. Put the searched phrase in the first 40 characters.
The description is a second chance
On a pin’s detail view the description appears under the image, and the first line decides whether the rest is read. Treat it as a standalone sentence, not a continuation of the title.

Pin Feed Preview FAQ
How many characters show in the feed?
Roughly 40–50 for a title and around 50 for a description before the “more” link. It varies with card width and device.
Does the preview match Pinterest exactly?
It is close, not identical — fonts and card widths differ. Use it to test whether the important words arrive early, not to measure pixels.
Should the board name be in the title?
No. The board already appears on the card; repeating it wastes the visible characters.
