Why compare copy at all
When a pin underperforms and you rewrite the description, it is easy to believe you changed one thing when you changed five. A word-level diff shows the real edit, which is what you need if you want to know which change mattered.
Use it to protect what worked
Rewrites tend to sand off the specific detail that made the original work — a number, a constraint, a phrase. The diff makes deletions visible, so you can put back the line you did not mean to lose.
Keep the keyword in both versions
If the diff shows the target phrase disappearing from the revision, that is usually the whole explanation for a drop in impressions. Search still needs the words to match.
Where to go next
Clean the winning version with Copy Cleaner before it goes back into the description field, or rework the angle with Title Rewriter.
How to use Copy Diff Checker

- Paste the revision in the right box.
- Read the highlights — green added, red removed.
Copy Diff Checker FAQ
Does it compare words or characters?
Words, plus whitespace-normalised lines. Punctuation-only changes are reported separately so they do not drown out the real edits.
Can I compare two different pins?
You can, but it is most useful on two versions of the same copy where most of the text is shared.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The comparison runs entirely in your browser.
